Where does your chicken come from?
We source our chicken from a variety of locations to ensure that we have a consistent supply of high quality, great tasting and affordable products. We primarily use Canadian chicken, and occasionally access products from the United States and Brazil. These products are sourced only from processors that meet our standards of quality and safety and are registered with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Janes products are then manufactured and packaged in Canada.
Why don’t you buy from Canadian suppliers only?
We want to ensure that our customers have a consistent supply of high quality, great tasting, and affordable products. We are able to accomplish this by sourcing from both Canadian and International markets. All suppliers meet the stringent food safety standards and are registered with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
Are Janes fish farmed or wild fish?

The MSC ecolabel shown on our packaging is your guarantee that the product comes from a fishery that has been independently certified to the MSC’s standard for a well-managed and sustainable fishery.
